O1 apartment

O1 apartment

info

The two-story apartment is located on the attic floor in an apartment complex on Orlovskaya street.

The common space is designed in neutral tones, with accents created with the use of concrete and dark wood. The concrete ceilings have been left in their original form; their coating was restored.

Lightning is provided with light structural lamps that create cloud effect. Above the double-height space of the corridor, the wooden mass of the study looms; it matches a huge cabinet separating the corridor and the kitchen.

The stairs to the second floor are made of wooden steps that seem to be floating in the air; they contrast with the concrete wall. When one looks at the upstairs balcony from the living room, it seems to be supported by volumes and different materials and textures that are outlined with in-ceiling lighting.
